this style of music is called Bachata, a northern Mexican type of style waltz. In the middle section of the song it turns into a flamenco (Spanish dance) music. For the Bachata you dance holding your partner as in a waltz, your bodies sway together to one side as you move to right side on the count of 1 2 3 and on the three you tap your left toe lightly as you raise your hip ( you make your hip make a number 8 as you sway), and then you do the same to the left side , both bodies swaying close and together at the same time.
