I couldn't dance either but I had more fun talking with my date and semi-socializing during my prom. It helped because my date couldn't dance either...

Maybe a Google search for online lessons?

Dancing is very vague. Play some fun music that you like or a type of music you know that they will play at the prom. Invite some friends over a few weeks before prom, (maybe a few good dancers you know that you have a good relationship with,) and just bust out some moves. You can also go to YouTube and search "school dances" that might be a big help. I can't stress enough to be yourself and just have fun - who cares if you aren't the best dancer and look silly... you are having fun doing it!

What kind of dancing? Grinding or slow dancing? I didn't know what to do freshman year at homecoming, so I was really nervous and worried but then I realized nobody else knew what they were doing either (at least from the freshman). Slow dancing is the easiest thing to do, girls will usually hold the guy's shoulder with their hands and the guys will have their hands on the girls sides or hips. Just be sure not to step on each others' feet and just move slowly back and forth or in a circle. I know it sounds sort of weird and it will look weird if you picture it but thats what everyone else is doing. Grinding is a lot different, and each girl dances differently too. I can't really help you on that. But don't worry about slow dancing, I haven't seen a single person that couldn't slow dance.

I happen to take dance classes, good thing i just signed in. What you can do is buy alto of dance movies since your prom is so close and not enough time to learn, You can buy Dirty Dancing, Dirty Dancing Havana Nights and some new dance tapes. You should practice up to 5 days a week for about 2 hours. Good look!!!!!!!!!:)

That's the good thing about crowded school dances, no one cares what you dance like. Its usually so packed that you can't really dance anyway. For slow dancing, all you really have to do is sway back and forth. Besides, Prom isn't all about dancing, its about having a good time with your friends, making memories, all the sappy stuff :) Have fun at your prom!

properly slowdancing is something every person can do. you place your hands around his shoulders and he will positioned his around your waist. only persist together with his lead. you purely sway edge to edge finding out on up your ft relatively. speedy dancing, now days no person dances a undeniable way anymore. every person only bounces around. Shake your butt slightly and circulate to the music. only have relaxing. no person is going to look at you and think of oh my god she cant dance! yet human beings would be conscious in case you're status around no longer shifting and not having relaxing. try sitting down once you get there and watch what the different ladies are doing whilst they dance and only reproduction it. wish you have a blast at promenade!

Ask your parents or guardians. It's one of many parents' favorite memories to teach their children to dance.
