All it takes it a lot of stretching consistent days (or a little less often) until you can do all the way. Yoga is a good way to get flexible!

Trust me, I know how you feel. When I was trying out for various teams, I had to know how to do a cartwheel, step, sing and do a split. All but a split was there for me. Stretch your leg muscles every day (working with a friend will help you become flexible about three days faster than the average time). Then try stretching in the splitting position (there are various splits: jazz- your back leg is not fully straight, front, and side). You will see results in about 2 weeks. It takes time. You may wake up with muscle/leg pains. Don't worry, this only means that you are doing the amount of work required.

You can learn how to split by taking 5 minutes 3x a day and trying it out. You can push yourself a little if you need to learn in a rush, but do not push yourself too hard or you may rip a muscle.

Practice stretches like pike and toe-touch while you are sitting around at home to limber up your muscles. Stretching everyday is about the only thing you can do. Don't forget to stretch before AND after you practice the splits to prevent achy muscles and torn ligaments. Good luck!

theres no real way to learn how to do a split...you just got to stretch out a lot and keep practicing until you can do a split. theres these yoga rubber bands you can use to do warm ups with...those help flexibility a lot

Just stretch atleast 15 minutes a day you will see improvements every week after that or at least I did, it took me about 4 weeks to get them down good. Just remember to stretch and don't push yourself to hard. Good Luck!

Stretching everyday for at least 15 minutes. If you get sore, keep stretching. It goes away after a few days.
