I keep meaning to read Wicked by Greogory Maguire. It's been under my bed waiting to be read for ages, but I never quite get round to it. Every couple of weeks I think,oh yeah, I must read that, but then I get distracted by reading something bizarre instead (Currently the world according to Clarkson)

I have a signed book that I got second hand. It is signed, but I'm not sure if it's an authentic signature, since I wasn't there, and I can't seem to find the author's signature online to compare it. How can I find out if the signature is authentic, and also, how can I find out how much it would be worth?

I, too sing America.

I am the darker brother.
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I'll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody'll dare
Say to me,
"Eat in the kitchen,"
Then.

Besides,
They'll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed--

I, too, am American.

If someone really doesnt mind can you please help me to interpet this poem. Tell the technique, rhyme scheme & literary term. I really donno how to really interpet it. So I will really appreicate if someone can help me.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
