I want to hear any theories, rant about the movie, or anything else you want to get out of your systems about Eragon and Eldest

I love the book Eragon, the movie just fell short. It didn't have the werecat or half of the cities. The action that made the book memorable wasn't in the movie. The lack of Eragon's training shown also bothered me. If Eldest is made into a movie it wouldn't be able to follow the book at all since it left out so many details from Eragon. I love the books I just didn't really like the movies.

They are trash, everything related to it.
If you take out character names the plot of Eragon is exactly the same, as Star Wars a New Hope, and Eldest is exactly the same as Empire Strikes Back.
An example:
Young farmboy finds an item dropped by a princess who was fleeing from soldiers, that young farmboy ends up returning home and meeting a wise old man who trains him, his uncle is killed and the farmboy realizes his destiny as the last of a great line of warriors.
I can guarantee the third book will be exactly the same as Return of the Jedi.
And if his MOM wasn't the owner of his first publisher you would never have read this book, there's no way garbage like this gets published in the real world.
I can write a better book in my sleep with one arm tied up.

Well there are plenty of reviews and theroies online.
but nine, personally, is that eldest was a great book and liked eragon. one theory is that the seven words Brom whispered to eragon in the first book is the name of the ancient language

I loved the books but then again I love almost any fictional work. I haven't seen the movie but I think that they will ruin it because they probable couldn't find people pretty enough to play the parts in my mind. I don't think they should've made it into a movie because you get this mental image in your mind and then when they make the movie they don't live up to your mental image.
Do you know when the last book will come out?

I liked the books, the movie was horrible though. i think the last book should be out sometime this year or early 2009.

I absolutley HATE the starting sentence in the book.if you love the book sorry but i can EASILY tell that this was written by a fifteen year old with about NO writing skills!
