im not looking for any one to tell me what the imagery is or anything like that..just wanted to know if anyone knew of any good poems to use

Oddly enough, The Jabberwocky, in Alice in Wonderland.
There's a whole lot of nonsense words, but because of the verbs, like Beware and Bite, and claws that catch, it makes for one scary and exciting poem!
It shows that you can achieve imagery as much through suggestion as through explicit description.

A simple poem with imagery is "The Fog" by Robert Frost.

The Romantic period in poetry is loaded with poetry based on images and nature.

'the raven' or 'tell-tale heart' by edgar allen poe are good ones to use.
