I just read this book a few weeks ago and I absolutely adore it. Honestly, it's my new favorite book. There's one or two times that the book gets kind of graphic, but you can read over it and it wouldn't make a huge difference. I don't know, I'm sixteen and it didn't seem that bad at all. But yeah, try out if you want:
The Perks of Being A Wallflower by: Stephen Chbosky
Here's the summary on the back:
It is the story of what it's like to grow up in high school. more intimate than a diary. Charlie;s letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. We may not know where he lives. We may not know to whom he is writing. All we know is the world he shares. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory, The world of first dates, family dramas, and new friend. The world of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, where all you need is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite.

Try some of these authors then: David Weber, David Drake, David Gemmel, Ted Bell, Jack DuBrul, Matthew Reilly, James Rollins, James Clemons(same guy as Rollins), Clive Cussler, Raymond Khoury, Chris Kuzneski, John Ringo, Eric Flint, H. Rider Haggard, H. Beam Piper, Trudi Canavan, Mercedes Lackey, Iris Johannsen, J.A.Jance, Stuart Woods, James Doss, John Dunning(Cliff Janeway mysteries), or anyone else you can think of when you finish the books, try some of the others listed at the back of the ones you just finished. I would love to see your book collection, I have been reading books for 50 years and had to sell all of my collection because it was so huge. Feel free to email me if you want to know more authors, new or old.

The Bloody Jack series! They are about a girl that dresses up as a boy to become a pirate. I love them!! Pirates! is also a good book. I love all the Anne of Green Gables books. Harry Potter, of course. 1776, it's actually a very interesting book even though I was forced to read it (but it's hard reading).
I'd give you more, but all of my books are packed because we are moving very soon. After you see the books I say are good, do you have any recommendations for me?? Please email me and tell because I am running out of ideas. By the way, I'm 14 too.
Later!

I was going to say The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series, but if you've read that many books, I'm sure you've read these. Two great books are A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly and Children of the Lamp by P.B. Kerr. Enjoy!

I recommend books by utilising Lois Lowry. The Giver, gathering Blue, and Messenger are a number of my faves. I additionally like huge form the celebs. a collection of unlucky events by utilising Lemony Snicket-that sequence is exceptionally sturdy. the 1st 7-8 books are slightly repetitive and predictable, yet as quickly as you get to the tenth e book or so, the key is addictive. different faves are Schooled, by utilising Gordan Korman, Tangerine, by utilising Edward Bloor, and purple scarf woman, by utilising Ji Li Jiang. i desire you get excitement from those books!

The Book Thief by Marcus Zusack is the best book I have read in a long time, it is good for all ages. It is just incredible the way it pulls you in and makes you feel along with the characters.
