These people ask for help, I try to give it but you won't let me? Why not let them make their own decisions whats spam and abuse? You are like governments. You people apparently know what is best for everyone. I spend at least two hours everyday trying to help others here. barwaynerus@yahoo.com
I will no longer try to help in Yahoo questions and answers and I have helped many. Not worth fighting the know it alls.
Good bye and good luck everyone.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord. Across the sky flashed scenes of his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him and the other belonging to the lord. When that last scene of his life flashed befor him, he looked at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened in the very lowest and saddest times of his life. This realy bothered him so he questioned the lord about it. "lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when i needed you most you would leave me." The lord replied, "My son, my precious child, i love you and, i would never leave you. During those times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, that is when i carried you."

I was reading some notes about 'Of Mice and Men' by J. Steinbeck. I can't understand why George couldn't afford living with Lennie, as him being the personification of dream and so had to kill him. I understood that he couldn't afford living with him because he was simple-minded and couldn't control his strength, so he could cause trouble.

1. Bradbury includes a description of what Christianity is like in his culture. Do you see any similarities between what he describes and our time and culture?
