J.K. Rowling commemorated the end of her writing book seven, Deathly Hallows, with a little note and her signiture signed on the marble bust of the Greek God Hermes. I have never heard of a marble bust and do not know what it is. Are they specifically meant for Greek Gods or Godesses? Can anyone help me out?

I'm 16 and I just wrote a book and I sent it to the NY Literary Agency for representation and they accepted it but they said it needed to be critqued/edited by a --critque/editor before it could be published, but I am dead broke, koz I spent all my money on my mom's hospital bill (she was in the hospital for major surgery) so I dont have the money to hire a critque/editor, so I was wondering if there is anyone here who is EXTREMELY good in literature or who is an author or former editor who could help critque/edit my novel, out of the love of their heart or out of kindness? Or as a "pay it foward" gesture. I really need help. Thank you, I hope someone can help.

I would like to read Fantasy books, a friend of mine tells me that the Forgotten Realms are good titles to read.
Just wondered if there's a starting point to these books, or could anyone recomend me one.

I'm sitting here at work, listening to the Prisoner of Azkaban on listentoamovie.com and a thought crossed my mind. Why can't one of the characters (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Lupin, anyone) pull the memory of everything that happened in the shrieking shack out of their head, put it in a pensieve (spelling?) and then bring Dumbledore into the memory like Dumbledore brings Harry in the 6th book? Then there would be proof that Petigrew was still alive and Black was innocent.

Just my musings. Curious what others think. ;)

I am looking for a poem I wrote about 6 years ago. I had posted in on a community poetry site (I believe it was poetrykingdom.com , which I have searched or tired to). I did not remove it from the site. Unfortunately I have lost all copies of it and was hoping someone could give me a way to track it down.

Ok, so I have to write the first ten pages of my movie idea for my film lit. class. And I just finished typeing out scene 2 and it ended in the middle of a page. Do I move striaght on to scene 3 or do I have to put "TRANSISTION" or "CONTINUED" and then start on scene three?

Example:

My character leaves for lunch. (end of scene two)

3 Ext -- constuction site -- Day 3

Is that what it's suppose to look like? Or do I put transistion of continued before i start scene three? I don't think I am but it looks weird on the page.

If you're over 40, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Way back in the day, NFL Films produced this awesome short with the legendary John Faccenda (the voice of NFL Films) narrating the entire poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling, with some superb slo-mo visuals.

Granted, it's probably a little dated by now (circa 1972), but if ANYONE knows where I can either get a copy or see it on youtube, I'll be forever grateful.

Thanks, all you ol' NFL fans out there...
