How does Jack represent anarchy... I get it bassically, that he is the leader of the savages who have no governemnt butcan you give examples for me. Also how does Ralph represent government and order. thanx

Doesn't Ralph try and maintain order through the use of the conch?

Jack is unnecessarily aggressive and violent, setting himself up as dictator, attacking the other group and burning the island, slaughtering the pig etc.

It's been a while since I've read it.

I read this book when I was in High School.

Really... the only thing I remember is the fat kid gets eaten.
