Have you read Leven Thumps, The lost years of Merlin, or The Unicorn Chronicals? I'm looking for a good book that is just as good as those books mentioned. What would you suggest?

I really want to write a romantic poem about the object of my affection (kind of as the underlying theme). Can you give me any themes/ideas and/or ways to start the poem. I don't want any lines; I want it to be entirely by me. Thanks in advance.
If you must give lines, please give them in iambic pentameter.

There's this book where these kids, for whatever reason, are put in this HUGE room with never-ending connecting staircases. I think I remember that sometimes food will just show up on some of the landings, but no one ever sees how it gets there.

It's kind of a weird book. Anyone know it?

I am almost finnished reading this book and it is by far the most influential book ive read. I went from watching up to 6 hours of television daily to completely removing television from my life after reading only half of the first argument. If you havent read this book I seriously recommend that you do.

Anyway what did you think of it?

I'm not sure which catagory my novel fits into, although I am leaning towards adult fiction. The story is mainly about a 14 year old girl (although points of view of the mother & others are included). So its about a young girl and deals with issues teenager could relate to, but written more for - in terms of the writing - adults. Can anyone give my some criteria on how to decide?

Were these names given to maids centuries ago or something? Especially the names "Edna" and "Gladys"; it's always given to the maid characters by most writers.

I just can't stand sitting down on a sofa or desk chair whenever I read books or magazines. But I'm afraid that if I continue this habit of lying in bed while reading, my eyes would eventually spoil. Is there a comfortable alternative to this without ruining my eyesight? Thanks in advance.

Anyone else like these books? It's been a few years since I read them, but I think I'm going to hunt them down and buy myself the series. I remember really enjoying them (except for the Second one). Who are your favorite characters? I was always especially fond of Dog XD.
