What was the contribution of L.M Montgomery's literature in Canadian History?

I want to know about this because I am doing a project on her life and her contribution to Canadian History. I also need to find out her life details for this project.

Her writings paint a vivid picture of life and nature at the time she wrote.

She must be in the internet for the details of her life. (She had a hard life.)
