i need a list of metaphor to describe either a clean and neat room or an untidy and messy room.

Metaphors for clean/neat rooms:

1) It was the monster of neatness.
2)The room was a silver plate wiped clean and shining spotless.

Metaphors for untidy/messy rooms:

1) The room was the aftermath of a tornado.
2) It was a garbage pit, full of useless trash thrown all over.

for dirty you could use: It was a pigsty.
A metaphore is just comparing things without using like or as. Instead of saying your room looked think a pigsty you would say My room is a pigsty.
