For a guy that is: Sweet, Funny, Kind, a Hockey Player, a Junior/Senior in High School, Tall, White.

I have been trying to come up with a name for this character forever (fyi- for a book I am working on) All the names I have come up with just don't fit. Any ideas would be awesome!!

Does anyone remember a story about a King or Prince who was soliciting women from the United States to be a part of his high class brothel. He paid them high dollar amounts, $10-$20,000. She talked about how she was propositioned on an airplane by one of the "King's" officials. Also, they women were mainly for the "king's" use. She also mentioned that some of them never slept with the king. They were just locked up in a cottage until they were called on. Additionally, she talked about how she and some of the other were made to dress up when there were big party's and were not allowed to eat or mingle with the guests. They were just for display.

My Selves

We’ll forget in time
the true deception
of appearance
when silver light dangled
under a secret sky.
Footprints of my former self
washed away
reflections of myself,
known only to myself.
Will I wake some morning
with the daylight of trust
filling til I feel fulfilled
with no mountains
mothering me in their breasts?
In a dream,
I’d awaken with poetry
pouring out of my pores
and never ask for more.
In this reality,
the rain of truth
makes my face cold
and a thousand lovers

I trace the difference
between trust and truth.
From the unborn pink sky,
sun slips away
into my eyes.
Misleading weather
turns to deliver tears,
mourning moments
murdered by caution.
For conscious thought cannot
coexist with emotion.
Only the strongest strands
strung together
stay to become our strength.

I am working on a project for school that has to do with the book "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. One of my tasks is the find how the word "Newspeak" connects with the story. i have read 2 books 1 called -distant drums (1991)# 2 rising defiant (1992) # 3 is called hail nation (1993) and i can't find the 3rd book the last one author is( d l carey) she wrote star trek book's later under the name diane carey doe's any body have hail nation?! they are civil war / slave times (ficton) thank's

I have heard so many opinions on this issue. But my professor has asked us to write an essy on who the greatest living poets is in America. He told us to get the answer at greatestlivingpoets.com. Who is Mark Stobo? I have only hear names of people that I have never heard before. Why are so many so-called great poets totally unknown to the average educated person? I never thougth people so important could be so unknown to the streamlined Popular culture. Would like to get the view of the average person in Yahoo for my report. Please help me figure this out. If there really is a GLP, then what does it say about America that it is also the greatest secret to most Americans? Comments?
