I read some time ago The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett, and I really liked it. I love reading - almost anything - but I hardly ever found anything similar to that: very often books like that are written badly and they don't have such a broad view. Does anyone have a title to suggest me? Thanks and a Happy New Year!

I have heard from countless sources that JK will kill Harry off, assuming that is a horcuxe or something of the sort, and once Harry dies, Voldermort will die. However, how can this be assumed if Voldermort has tried to kill him numerous times?

Who here thinks that Harry Potter is getting really tiring and has been stretched out way too far? I liked the books and movies at first, but frankly, the movies ruin the books, and after the first four, the books went sour too! The fourth movie was absolutely terrible, and I couldn't even get through the sixth book without falling asleep! People have been entranced by the growing popularity into thinking that they like the movies even though they stink. JK Whateverhenameis has ruined her beloved books by her overswelling head and pockets. Does anyone agree with me?

The book is about college girl who ends up in a weathy town where because of her background, and past experiences, believes she doesn't belong. Her paranoia about not being accepted by the more privilaged kids, makes it hard for the most influential guy in town to tell her how he feels about her. She believes him to be her enemy and plotting against her. When Actually, he is secretly in love with her. She is stubborn and paranoid. He is arrogant and very protective. It's a romantic comedy with a good bit of drama like an estranged father, an embarrasing alcoholic mother, and an attempted rape. At the end of the book, she finds out she had been wrong about him since the beginning. Where she blamed him for everything bad that happened, she finds it was him, that had saved her and had been helping her all along.

I think he is a British author and wrote such novels as "Doctor in the House." I read him a couple of years ago and would like to read him again especally the text which contains the episode about a student-gynaecologist who often comes late after the baby has been delivered on the Times newspapers! Can you assist in getting them at fairly reasonable prices!

in the book 'harry potter and the half-blood prince) there is said to be 7 hocruxes which lord voldemort made. it is said to have " tom riddles diary, slytherins locket, huflepuffs goblet, marvolos ring, one inside voldemort and dumbledore thinks one inside nagini (voldemort snake)."
i think that the last one is in harrys' scar.
i read on a website (something that JK Rowling said) that the last word in the last harry potter book is 'scar'. im thinking that the last sentence might be "harry became immortal and now has no scar???" something along those lines.
would it be possible that the night voldemort murderd harrys' parents, unwillingly put some of his soul into harry which is a hocrux and left the scar?
please give comments on your theories and please tell me if my theory seems good.

ty and happy new year.
