YES!!!! I LOVE Sophia Kinsella, the author! I thought Becky was an absolutely priceless character. I knew the moment in the book that she decided she was going to go on a budget but she of course needed an expensive leather book to record it in and coffee while she was out, etc... this was the book for me! The way she justifies her purchases and hides her credit card bills in the garbage can was totally me! I've read all the books in the series, and all I can say is they ONLY GET BETTER! Get them all!!!! I could go on forever....

P.S. -- Call me shallow, but I wasn't really looking for a "deep" book when the cover was hot pink and about shopping...

It is good for light reading, something fun. I wouldn't want to analyze it in a book club. It's more of a I'm-sitting-on-the-beach-and-bored-I-think-I-will-read-this-book type.

I liked it. I thought it was funny. Not a very deep, intellectual book - but I could relate to it and it made me laugh out loud.

I read it awhile ago. Wasn't real crazy about it. I couldn't really feel any connection or sympathy for such a shallow character.
