I don't know where I heard this, but I'd like to know what you think.
Once there was an elder statesman who was respected by everyone and won great debates. He was able to debate about any topic with even the strangest of strangers and assuredly his opinion would prevail. One day the ruler of the country wanted to pronounce him the smartest man in the world and he obliged. Although everybody has met their match with him in debates, one courtier stood up in the court and opposed. He said, "People of this court he is not smarter than you or I." and to prove it he asked the elder statesman where his own son is right now. The elder statesman scoffed, "My son is in school right now of course." The courtier signaled the officers at the door to bring in the elder statesman's son who was in hadcuffs and announced he was charged with murder. The elder statesman burst into rage while the son pleaded innocent.

This is an incomplete story from my memory, but what do you think.

I wrote a screenplay, and I think the story is good, but it doesn't flow like a screenplay should, and I'm at a bit of a brick wall. I'm only an amatuer author, but the storyline is great, and I'm quite confident I could get the screenplay sold.

They say the movies that sell are exciting, interesting, original, and are not coming of age movies, and are not based on a trend. Mine is all that and more.

I want to find someone that has experience writing screenplays so that they could help me write it, and then hook me up with the people that could get it made. I can't pay directly for their services, but could pay a percentage, or I could just sell the rights to the incomplete screenplay(incomplete because it needs help. The story has a beginning, middle, and excellent end) to another screenwriter. I read books on screenwriting, but I just can't do it alone. I don't have the experience.

Where can I find someone to help me?

The crimson sun rose rather slowly, giving light to the small village of Fira and the rest of the land called Hiemal. Fira, a once beauitful village, was dying like the rest of the world. Crops were never growing, no matter how much care was put into them. Animals were becoming more deadly and getting even closer to the village. Seemed like everyday another foolish adult or child that went out at night was killed by monsters.
