I wrote a screenplay, and I think the story is good, but it doesn't flow like a screenplay should, and I'm at a bit of a brick wall. I'm only an amatuer author, but the storyline is great, and I'm quite confident I could get the screenplay sold.

They say the movies that sell are exciting, interesting, original, and are not coming of age movies, and are not based on a trend. Mine is all that and more.

I want to find someone that has experience writing screenplays so that they could help me write it, and then hook me up with the people that could get it made. I can't pay directly for their services, but could pay a percentage, or I could just sell the rights to the incomplete screenplay(incomplete because it needs help. The story has a beginning, middle, and excellent end) to another screenwriter. I read books on screenwriting, but I just can't do it alone. I don't have the experience.

Where can I find someone to help me?

You could put an advert on mandy.com but don't hold your breath unless you are willing to reveal a lot more about your screenplay in the advert.

First you have to learn how to write a screenplay. Books are con tricks and teach you the worst possible way, and should be retitled, "How to fail in screenwriting and in hollywood".

First, you have to learn about the film industry and how it works. To get in the industry you have to know about the industry. Books won't tell you... except one.

Contact organisations like WSAI Virtual Studios, John Truby's writer's workshops, Dave Trottier; The Robert Zemekis Center, anybody that has a legit hollywood track record to learn from. Many of these guys have real study courses, provide real help, and can advise you on getting an agent and making it in the film biz.
