Ok. We want to start a band.. but we are not good in front of audiences.. How do we change that? And if we do start a band how do we get with a record label or something? I know auditioning and all that, but like I hear people getting spotted by agents and just go their merry little way. We want to be those people. We have gotten nowhere with this band and we want something.. Someone please help.

I've been acting for about two years now and absolutely love it. But bad things keep happening that prevent me from acting. I suddenly get this feeling of cold feet before turning in my application for USC, but decide to shell out the money anyway b/c that's where I want to live. Then I find out that the audition I chose is the same day as the audition for the new york school I really want to go to. Then when I'm asking my mom for advice she blows up at me saying we don't have the money to go to LA. This is after I was told that even though I have enough points to be inducted into thespian society that I can't audition at state thespian conference because I'm not officially inducted. After I didn't make two shows because I have "too much going on". All because my cheerleading coach wouldn't let me out of practice to go to the audition on time. I'm a very superstitious person, and see this as a bad omen. But should I? Would you keep going? or am I holding on to false hopes?

Question Details: I am a beginner at drawing. I am naturally right handed Here are my questions, all somewhat related:
1)Will it make a difference if I use my left hand or right hand?
2)Will it make a difference if I use my left or right eye (to the exclusion of the other)?
3)Which is more important: which eye I use, or which hand I use? Or does neither matter?
4)Does handedness (or eye that I choose) affect imaginative drawing more than observational drawing?
5)Will using my left hand in general cause my right brain to be stimulated and therefore more developed and better overall at its functions?

I observed that I can sometimes draw more detail from an observational drawing when I use my LEFT hand, but I think this may be because I have more control over my RIGHT hand and using the LEFT hand causes me to slow down and be slightly more observant. I don't know though.

6)Should I just forget about all of this and just draw?

I'm just starting out in photography. I have taken a few senior pictures with a Canon Rebel SLR and I really like using the telephoto lens while doing so. However, I'm obviously no expert and need some advice. What would be the best way to set up homemade backdrops in my home to make a 'yearbook' looking picture? What are the best lenses to use? Should I consider using a filter? Also, I take sports pictures and gyms are the hardest places to take pictures at. What is the best way to get clear action shots that aren't dark, and blurry? Any other words of random advice would be wonderful! (Especially things that helped you when you were starting off)

Hey, I was just wondering about what makes an artist an artist? Its just that i like to do art but i dont know if im talented enough to get anywhere with it, so just wondering how good do you have to be to be able to get to university or something?

Ps. To any other artists about my age (im 16), if its possible can you show some of your art? That would be helpful..

I really want to be an actress or model. My biggest dream is to be on one of the shows on Disney Channel, because I can sing well. Do you know of any good schools near Salt Lake City, Utah? I would love any of your help.

Would I make a good model? I am about 5'5" with light brown hair. I have blue eyes and really pale skin. My friends all tell me that I look like a model from Hollister. Do you think that I have a chance? Oh and also, I am pretty thin.

Also, I have heard of John Casablanca's and John Robert Powers. Are they scams?

Do you know of any reliable websites that I could look at for open casting calls or something?

Like I said, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Honest opinions please?
I've had people think I was depressed when they read this. I am not. This poem is about what I think could happen if we dont change our destructive ways, and soon
so please tell me what you think, if its not any good just say so! :D

The wheat has stopped waving
The air has grown thin
The waves of the ocean
Have stopped crashing in
The grass has grown dry
The Earth become cracked
The mountains are crumbling
No longer mighty or high

The trees have been broken
Their leaves turning in
The oceans are rising
The ice growing thin
The snow has all melted
The stars will not shine

We sat on our knees
Cryin’ please, oh please, oh please
What was done is now done
It cannot be changed
We never found love
We never lost hate
We never listened
To those who spoke out
And now here we sit
As the suns giving out

From the thorns, I rise,
to find simple peace.
All hopes and dreams within my reach,
Amaranta in my mind.

No tear-blotted pages,
no anger, no hate.
There is a future,
Amaranta in my heart.

Your scent surrounds me,
you whisper in my ear...
The sun and the rain, the wind and the wing,
All witness to Amaranta.

Amaranta in my soul.

They are calling...
Back to the bracken I fall...

Please, hold my hand,
and save me from the fall.
Tell me I'm worth it,
please, tell me I'm worth it all.

I'm sorry I try too hard,
I'm sorry that I care.
I'm sorry I listened to the lies,
I'm sorry that they're there.

I'm sorry that I love you,
too much or not enough?
I'm sorry that I'm only
a bit of useless fluff.

I'm sorry that I tried,
I'm sorry I believed you.
I'm sorry I'm human,
I wish you were too.

I'm sorry I'm imperfect,
I knew it all along,
I only had to wait,
'till you could hear the song.

Tell me when it's over,
tell me when we're through.
Tell me when I've pushed too hard,
tell me when I kill you.
