Is there a difference between the two, are they mutually exclusive or do they blur together and overlap?
Is there a line at all ?

I tend to think that there is no line, that artistic photography can be technically good and vice versa, but what about when an artistic photograph is in theory technically bad, yet it works as a piece of art ? Is it a good photograph ?

I'd like to hear what others think, my mind is open, I'm a painter who knows little about photographic technology, but I have a definite interest.

Terry Pratchett has a form of Altzheimers. He is putting a very positive spin on it, and reckons he has several books still to come, but it's awful news about a top bloke and great writer.

would it not be wise for Governments of the World to encourage peoples of ancient traditions living on their territories, who have knowlege of how to survive in situations that we of a "civilized" life-style would not, to return to their old style of life
in order that some part of Humanity might continue on this Earth?

How do you like it? Compliments/critiques please.

Music used to be about rhythm and originality
Politics, crisis and topicality
Now it's fake, whiney, popularized junk,
A mix of "gorexcore" and pop punk
At times I find it hard to not be satirical
Seeing these kids saying they are lyrical
It's not even about the music, just the "scene"
Like N'Sync half the fan base is in their teens
Yet sometimes I can't help but feel bad for the bands
Their entire careers in these attention whores hands
They say they are sad to the people they know
"You may be depressed, but I am emo!"

“We were never more free than during the German occupation. We had lost all our rights, beginning with the right to talk. Every day we were insulted to our faces and had to take it in silence…and because of all this we were free. Because the Nazi venom seeped into our thoughts, every accurate thought was a conquest. Because we were forced to hold our tongues, every word took on the value of a declaration of principles…”

Is he correct? Why or why not?

Death.
Flames and crosses,
That burns the soul,
Didn’t come from that black hole,
Knives and blades,
To cut and scar,
Didn’t come from afar,
Ropes and chains to buckle and tie,
Didn’t come from that black sky,
Goodnight my friend,
To sleep and dream,
Tomorrow won’t come,
As it did seem.
