I mean when you do something for someone and you get absoloutley nothing out of it at all, not even a good feeling? I don't think there is one, but if someone tells me a truly selfless act, i maybe swayed lol...

I have to paint a colour circle, but the problem is, I only have yellow, blue, and purple. (and various other colours which I don't use) I have no red.

So, how do I turn purple into red? I've asked elsewhere, and was told to add yellow, and I got a brown-orangy colour, which was good for one of the squares, but I need good red.

I'm in a scene (from the play "The Shadow Box") in my acting class, and I need some help putting together an outfit for my character. My director described my chracter as an extremely sassy Karen (from Will and Grace). She said I'll probably need lots of accessories, and I think she's probably very fashionable (for the 1970's). I'm only 19 and I really don't know what to do...

I've been asked to make an original illustration concerning Frost's "Mending Wall"... however, I'm neither very creative or talented when it comes to art!
If you're familiar with the poem, what would be a good idea for a simple yet representative illustration of the poem? I realize that I could simply draw a wall, but it wouldn't be very original! Thanks for your time!

Just curious if anyone has ever made a poster out of one of their pictures, and if so how did you go about doing it?

I have some pretty good pictures that I would like to have made into posters on good poster paper about 11" X 14" or maybe 16" X 20". Thanks!

I'm applying for a school for the fine arts and I have a MAJOR passion for theatre. Thing is, is that I don't really have that much experience because I just started getting into this stuff 2 years ago. I've only been in 2 school productions and that's it. The college that I'm applying for requires an essay where I have to talk about my art form and my experiences and such...any ideas on what I should include?

From 1877 to the 1980s social movements created a series of shifts in popular attitudes toward the role of government in American life. Looking at Reconstruction, Populism, Progressivism, The New Deal and the 1960s attempt to explain how we arrived in 2007 with our current political concerns about low taxation, moral issues such as abortion and gay marriage, and fears of world terrorism. In your opinion has the period since 1877 been a period of positive growth for the United States? A period of decline? A period in which very little has actually changed despite many big ideas and events? Use reference points from the past to explain your beliefs.
