The postion of the "common man" is often very difficult. Rank, in order of preference from tbest to worst, the position of the following common men and justify your ranking... a small Roman farmer in the late Republic, a helot, and a serf

Please help explain to me. I been trying to figure this out all day. Thanks!

I'm going crazy. I need a book to read! My favorite book is A Clockwork Orange and nothing has ever come close to beating that. Second favoirte is Slaughterhouse 5. What book should I read? Are there any books remotely similar to these two? I really like it when a book makes you think for weeks, you take a lot from it instead of it just being a quick meaningless action romp.

im getting my best friend an electric guitar for christmas.
i found a Fender Stratocaster for $230. but i have to buy the amp too for $80. Heres the link to the Fender:

http://www.activemusician.com/item--EM.032-1620-565

I ALSO FOUND...

a Silvertone package that includes the guitar, the amp, shoulder strap, picks, gig bag, etc for $140.

which one is better quality? the Fender, or the Silvertone?

NOTE:
my best friend is LEFT handed. THE FENDER IS A LEFT-HANDED GUITAR. THE SILVERTONE PACKAGE IS RIGHT-HANDED.

My mother painted a copy of this painting which appeared on The Radio Times cover, Christmas about 1964 (from memory).

I think its a copy of a John Piper detail, but not sure. Can anyone help?

Warriors of Prayer
Written by Semper Fi Reborn - Loyal Prayer Warrior

Their purpose is of God,
To serve with no end.
To answer the calls of prayer,
And wage war against sin.

Chosen for battle,
The Word of God is their sword.
No fear, not even of death,
Living to obey the Lord.

Being saved by His Blood,
Born of Spirit and not womb.
Across the whole world,
On their knees in their rooms.

Lifting praise up to God,
Praying prayers, miracles gained.
Confessing of sins,
Forgiven in His Name.

We Bless You O' God,
You are Righteous and Fair.
We bow before you,
We are Warriors of Prayer.

Last time I checked, the Biggest Wars ever fought were World Wars One and Two.

Last time I checked, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt were two of the biggest liberals who ever sat in the White
House.

Last time I checked, America won both of those wars.

Last time I checked, the guy in charge when we lost our biggest war (Vietnam) was Nixon, one of the most conservative presidents we ever had. He decided to "cut and run" to use a popular conservative term.

Kennedy was a liberal. He was a war hero.
Jimmy Carter was the last true liberal in the White House. He graduated second in his class from the Naval Academy and served on board a nuclear submarine. Jimmy's son Chip, served as a lowly private in the infantry in the Army in Vietnam.
Probably the most liberal person who ran for President in living memory was George McGovern. He flew bombing missions over Germany.
