There is time to understand who you are in reality, if you do this before the death of this mortal body you have reached the goal of life. Hear is what you nee to know. We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. You are very fortunate now you know and you have a choice to seek that it can take one minute or many lifetimes the choice is yours. I am so glad I know now. For info go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada can be read on line asitis.com also for the origninal new testament before King constantnie changed the bible. Google gospelofthnazirenes.com Jesus originally taught karma, reincarnation and no one goes to hell eternally. The original followers of Jesus (the Essenes) took the original teachigs of Jesus into hiding becaue they where being killed by the Romans. IT is now available in English with historical documentation of its authenticity. Don't delya God will give you the time you need if you are deeply sincere in knowing Him before you die. Then you will go to Him if you fully surrender to him. I help people leave their bodies. Write if you want assistance. We can correspond.

You don't understand the scriptures. Christ offered us TWO gifts. One is for everyone - that is the resurrection and being able to live forever. The other gift, which involves eternal rewards, is offered for good behavior. All will receive the first gift, but choose whether to earn the second. There is no such thing as deathbed repentance - all of us will be judged on what we did and thought during our lives and this is said over and over again in the scriptures. God is not constrained by worldly time as we are - He can move forward and backward and anywhere. He is infinite and we are finite. He can move forward and see who will be judged happily or harshly, but that doesn't mean He will interfere with our choices. He can't - He has given us agency to choose for ourselves. It's the only way we can learn.

Again the concept that we must have a life worthy of living and we don't know how to measure worth. We measure it through the eyes of others in praise. Here we imagine telling others of our accomplishments and falling short on the imagined praise.

Try googling "life worth living"; you'll get almost 100,000 hits. It is in our nature and we can't shake it.

As children, our lives had worth simply by being sons and daughters of loving parents. Love gives worth that doesn't have to be earned; it just is. That is what we long for.

Maybe things you did for people while you lived has great meaning to them, so even though you disappointed yourself, you did not disappoint others, therefore your life did have meaning.
