Pornography
Written By Semper Fi Reborn

He was seen as a strong man,
Yet inside he was weak.
He was enslaved in chains,
By the pleasures he'd seek.

The video store,
Had become his church.
A quest for perversion,
His daily search.

He'd pop in a movie,
And watch with glee.
The sickness and filth,
Upon his TV.

Never realizing at all,
He was being changed.
The way he viewed women,
Had itself derranged.

He sought out the company,
Of prostitutes.
Cheap affairs,
Quick rendevouz.

All because,
Many can never see.
The damages done,
By pornography.

I was surfing book reviews on Amazon and read reviews for some of the Great Books. I read a review for Madame Bovary that said "Emma bovary was a psycho....this was some whack sh*t." Another one was by a TEACHER who said "it is so hard getting kids to read this because its so monotonous and pretentious." Then I read a 1 star review for the Canterbury tales that said "yuck....this book bites." Has this made you lose faith in mankind yet?

I’ve noticed that some people when asked about where they are from they reply with a few different nationalities like “My mother's mother is half British and half American and my dad's dad is half Jamaican and half Scottish” which is ok but then some people go as far back as their great great grandparents

What’s the point in this? Do their nationalities really have anything to do with the person I’m asking about anymore?

I would usually not think or really care about this but I was talking to a girl who said she was 1/14 Jamaican which I don’t understand at all! Is that possible?

What's the point couldn’t we just start over and say we are 'wherever we were born'?

I'm going to start reading Hemmingway's The Sun Also Rises today is there some things I should know about Hemmingway before I start reading? I'm fourteen by the way and my mom said I should wait until at least college year to read it (when she read it).

When I was younger I use to get depressed all the time. Looked for ways to express my intense emotions, music, art, dance, writing poetry. If it is wasn't for my life experiences and my genes I wouldn't be the talented person I am today.

I'm writing a paper on the roles of the insane and the ignorant in Shakespeare's Macbeth and Hamlet. my thesis is that even though they tend to be comical they are actually very important. The problem is I can really only think of Hamlet pretending to be crazy....
