I'm doing a research powerpoint for fools, clowns, and jesters in Shakespeare plays that have been read in my class, and was wondering if Falstaff would be considered one of those?

Thanks!

I am not a communist nor do I support it, I'm just curious on why and how did one of the most powerful nations in the history of the Earth collapse?, was it Ronald Reagans fault?, Mikhail Gorbachevs?, Joseph Stalin's?, if the 1991 Coup Leaders had arrested Boris Yeltsin would the Soviet Union still be standing today?, what if Trotsky became leader instead of Stalin?, would he have been a better leader?, what if Perestroika happend first instead of Glasnost?, overall, what were the main causes of why the U.S.S.R. collapsed?

In the IGI I have an Eliza Longbottom born 1820 Birstall, parents Joseph and Ann.
I looked on the IGI for a Joseph and Ann marriage within a few years of 1820.
There was just one it could be - in 1814 birstall
Joseph married Hannah.
Are hannah and ann interchangeable names. What is the likelikihood of this being the same person?

From politics to art, from religion to patriotism, and from fame to "celebrity" it seems the focus is on the sizzle and reputation rather than the steak. Have we lost critical thought?

There is a coin with Alexander the Great attacking Porus on his elephant and on the obverse Alexander is holding a scepter and a thinderbolt (associated with Zeus).
I have to catagorize it into one or more of the following in regard to Greek history: economic, political, military, social and cultural.
Which of these does it fall under and why?
It's not just economic because its on a coin but what would the images on the coin fall under and why ?

"Annie's Laughter"
Lipstick stain's on a glass of wine,
little pink rings around Virinia Slims,
Annie's laughter linger's on through the night.
I could never live long enough to learn to Love what I have.
I shouldn't have to earn respect
the way she's earned to be disrespected.
I don't know how to please her,
There's no reason to even try,
with nothing to be desired,
Love is not my fate.
I feel no need to be forgiven.
Annie's laughter linger's on through the night....

I have a painting that was handed down from my grandfather, who was a wealthy man before he died in Laredo, Texas. It is an actual painting and not a print out or anything like that. It was in a set of 2 or 3 others. It is of a man playing the oboe (I think that's the instrument). Anyhow the signature is either "SmiroLav" or "SmiroLan" or "SmiroJav" or "SmiroJan" LOL. I have no idea what the name could be, and that is because I'm unfamiliar with any artists' names.

I'm looking for books that follow this:

1.) A story about going against society's beliefs, and it working for the better good. (Example: The book Anthem).

2.) Learning they have a purpose, and how it effects everyone. (The Giver MIGHT fit this).

3.) A book that is full of metaphorical things about society and life and what should be looked at and changed. (The book Geoffery Chaucer wrote, with the Pardoner's Tale in it would fit fine with that, and Gulliver's Travels as well).

4.) Thought provoking (all of these are swell examples).

Any books I haven't named that would fit these examples and qualifications that I would enjoy? (try to name about 2 at least please). Thanks!

I read the Odyssey with school and my teacher encouraged us to watch Oh Brother, Where Art Thou because it was based on the book. I watched it and I picked up on some similarities, but mostly I was just very confused watching the movie. I see how they are similar with like the characters names, the prophet, the sirens, etc. But can someone help me by pointing out some more similarities, differences, and explaining basically what the movie was about. I was just so confused watching it, lol. I feel stupid. So please and thanks!

Many people will respond to the "purpose in life" question with something like "why does there have to be a purpose?" or "There is no purpose" but almost everyone will have a reason for living. I don't see much difference between the two.

I'm doing a report on the physical treatment of slaves in the United States and Brazil. It is a comparison of the punishment methods, living quality, and other comparable things between the two nations. Does anyone have any good sources on the subject for either country or both? I was given Carl Deglers book Neither Black Nor White, but that's all. I just need some sources, thanks!

I am currently a second-year student in college. I have been working on my novel since I was a freshman in high school, which is basically a time period of 5 years.

During 9th grade, that was when my novel changed the most. Since then, I keep changing things because I feel like the things I wrote weren't realistic or mature enough.

So, how do I finish my novel for good so I can try to publish it? If I keep seeing its flaws, what's to stop me from continuing to revise it?

I am willing to pay up front, or give a share whichever you like. Since this will be self published and is my first ever book I don't mind if I get a first time illustrator. Good chance to create something for your portfolio. If your not an illustrator but know of someone or a place I can find one, please feel free to answer. Thanks.
p.s. (I have over ten years experience working with children and I have a very valid marketing plan)

I am trying to decide if I should go to college or university for acting and try to fit in some auditions while I'm there, or if I should rent an apartment while continuing to audition and make acting my full time job straight out of highschool. I already have experience in film/TV but I dont know whether to continue this and rent a apt, or to go to college/uni and try to audition when I can fit it in. Or maybe I should take a year off after highschool and audition, and hen if nothing big happens, go to college once the year is up. Any advice??
