Hey! I am thinking of writing a paper on homosexual literature. Do u think I should concentrate on specific writers or generally trace the effect of homosexuality on literarure starting from the 19th century? Any ideas? Any suggestions (for further reading maybe)? Thanks!!

I am thinking of dealing with Tennessee Williams and William Inge? You think I should address more playwrights in my paper? Or should I concentrate on just one playwright (probably Tennessee Williams)?

Good topic. Ideally, it would be better to give a general outline first that traces the practice back to earlier literary practitioners. Then narrow down to specific recent writers.

How long a paper do you plan to write? Focusing on just a few writers will be a lot more manageable than trying to cover a couple of centuries of literary history.
