I miss you each and every day,
why was it you that had to be taken away,
but then I find myself thinking your ok,
now that your out of the pain,

I always wonder what it would be like having you around,
would anything change or would it stay the same,
sometimes I think I hear your voice,
and then the agony I feel is profound,

I wasn't allowed to attend the day,
that could have let go of the grief I carry,
they wouldn't let me say what I wanted to say,
and I felt as though I was betrayed,

I remember all the times we had together,
the memories I hold will last forever,
I used to be resentful and bitter,
but now I see the bigger picture,

I've moved on now to were I belong,
but will never forget,
you've taught me how to be strong,
and your spirit will always live on,

The reason I ask is that I am reading a book called The Long European Reformation 1350-1750, by P. Wallace, and in chapter 1 he begins by saying 'between 1347 and 1350, an epidemic, later known as the black death, swept through Europe and killed perhaps one-third of its population.Imagine the effects of the frightening and unexplainable deaths of nearly two billion people' but when I turn to the next page he states that the population had ' grown rapidly, and by the fourteenth century, perhaps 75-80 million people inhabited the continent'. This statement confuses me, I know that he uses the word perhaps, and it would be hard to gather exact population figures, but these seem to be poles apart. I thought a billion is a thousand million in monetary terms, not quite sure for population counts. Does anyone know if I am just stupid and reading this wrong, or a way to find out an estimate of pre and post- Plague, Black Death populations for Europe, or could perhaps clear this up for me. Thx

*****

I’m writing a book about God,
well…not really.
It’s about how God wants us
to divide our pirate’s booty…

It’s about which sins are back in,
and… the unforbidden...
or, what weapons are fair,
in a fight for our rights.

The story’s about my brothers,
not Mothers…graveside weeping, or
Satan sleeping on the lawn,
of the White House…

The theme is a dream,
nightmarish…it seems.
The moral is decay, spirit
fades away as stripes bleed.

When Abraham Lincoln made the statement" Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged" was he referring to Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, John Murtha, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Joe Biden?

I have a book published in 1877. If I want to sell it how much do you think I can get? The book is written with Cyrillic letters. It's a religion book. It contains prayers & verses of the Bible. I don't really know what exactly contains because I don't know the Cyrillic alphabet, but it has photos with Jesus and Saints. & I think the book is from a lending library.
