I do agree that love always wins, but it is first important to explain what is meant by winning.

We have all heard expressions like "Nice guys finish last" and what not that remind us that occasionally those who abandon love and kindness seem to achieve their objectives more expeditiously than those who preserve a kind and loving heart.

However, if by achievement, we do not merely mean getting what would please us in the moment, but we instead mean doing what is good and right, this dichotomy between doing the kind and loving thing and achieving one's goals ceases to exist. In this way, love always wins, as it is what leads us towards real happiness by helping us to achieve the goals we truly desire (a better world, a kinder society, a sense of brotherhood or sisterhood with our neighbor, etc.).

There are different types of love. The love that a mother has for her child ( children) is not the same type of love that you have for a member of the opposite sex. So, in this situation, love is definitely a winner. Mom's are able to love their children unconditionally ( hopefully). A family member also has this type of love but, it is still different than the love for your own child. As far as relationships, the personality of each person can make or break a relationship. I would like to think that Love can conquer but, it depends on the couple and their communication skills, their common interests, among other things. Yes, overall, I agree that love wins !!

The fact that it exists at any given moment is a victory. Resultant expectations resulting from that may or may not be considered a permanent win. So Yes and No depending on individual goals.

Nope. Love makes us strong, but it's up to us to use that strength to win. It's often the case that people sacrifice love for other practical reasons even when they didn't have to.

Case in point: I let the love of my life move to San Francisco without me (thus losing her) because I was too afraid at the time of uprooting my life in New York. And don't tell me it wasn't love -- it was just that I didn't use the strength love gave me to take the plunge I should have taken.

yes and no. depending on the situation that love is involved....there are just times that the love is right, the feeling is intense..but you cant be together because of the lives you lived..there is a saying that in your lifetime..whether you are young or old, there would be only one person that will be the other half of your coin..if this person and you cannot be together..then your love for this lifetime is lost...but what if in another lifetime you meet again?? and fall in love?? and finally, be together..then, your love wins...

Hi Rena, I believe if two people are destined to experience love together. This is God`s higher plan in motion. So love does win , if God wills it.

No because as bad guys get all the women, they eventually get married and it ends in divorce and the woman takes the house and half his money. So exactly how is that winning?
