I have a book published in 1877. If I want to sell it how much do you think I can get? The book is written with Cyrillic letters. It's a religion book. It contains prayers & verses of the Bible. I don't really know what exactly contains because I don't know the Cyrillic alphabet, but it has photos with Jesus and Saints. & I think the book is from a lending library.

Check with a rare book dealer in your town. Some of these old books arent worth as much as we would like to think they are but others surprise us with their price.

It depends entirely on what somebody's willing to pay. I say that not to be a smart-azz but because it's true.

We had some books appraised as part of a large estate. Books from 1860-1900, leatherbound in good condition, were valued at $3 each. "Although most of them, you'd be lucky to get two," the appraiser said.

Unfortunately religious books are often inexpensive, even in other languages. Depends on the market you are trying to sell it in too. Look on ABE.com for it to see if some bookseller has it. That can give you an idea of the book's value.

Hope this helps.

I couldn't tell you without seeing the book. Books of that age can be from rather inexpensive ($25.00) to very expensive.
