I fear the phrase may have become so cliché. I wonder if people really realise the implications of using it without any legal reference?

or would let them move on and haunt some other place? What else would you do? This is if you did not go to heaven or hell but just stayed here in spirit form and could barely interact with the real world.

i have a question regarding the work of an architect. i'm not from the states and here, in europe, (some countries, don't know about them all) you can have a PhD in architecture even if you DIDN'T study architecture itself. so you could study languages and still hold a PhD in arch. my question is this, can you then get a job as an architect or is it out of question since you don't have diploma? can you enter a competition, get a job, etc? thanx a lot!

Hello! I was in Glasgow today shopping with my mum and she saw a print in a stall in the Princes Street shopping mall that she went totally gaga over...but I couldn't buy it with her there! All I remember was that it was a painting (or print of one) of an old style glasgow tenement, with a pub underneath it, lots of people standing outside. I guess I could call the mall and speak to the person at the stall...but i'm in Aberdeen and don't know if it could be shipped. Does anyone know what i'm talking about so I can do a net search? So far i've come up with nothing and think I might be flogging a dead horse :o(

As a relative newcomer to digital slr photography there is one major task I am struggling with and this is metering light. I am unsure as to at what point the camera actually meters the light. Is it when I half press the shutter when I focus ? If so, what do I do if I want to focus on one thing but meter from another area ?

Thanks

I trying to remember the name of of a series that aired a few years ago on the History or Discovery channel which discussed how various weapons were really used as opposed to how films and most people might think they were used. I remember an episode where they showed how swashbuckling movies depicted sword fights and how they really were fought.

I need to write a story for my school paper about the history of Saint Nick, aka Santa Claus. I've looked at several sites, but I just find stories about him that don't tell much. I need details!!! The paper goes to press Friday!

The sheets feel soft
The pillow is plump
I lay back and relax
Another day has gone by
Thinking of the events that occured
My mind was set to max

But I'm winding down
I'm breathing slower
I slowly shut my eyes
Then it comes
Those thoughts of you
Nobody hears the cries

Single tears run down my face
Like waterfalls after rain
I toss and turn as I wept
Thinking of lies
Thinking of love
My strength I should have kept

I start to calm down
I wipe my face
And then there you were
I begin to smile
My tears were happy
You came back to me for sure

I hugged you tight
You hugged me back
Told me you couldn't be without me
We laughed, we cried
We played, we smiled
We were in love so madly

I touched your hand
But it turned to dust
Whats happening I say
You can't leave me now
You look at me, as you fade
And say, its going to be okay

No! I say beginning to cry
You can't do this to me again
What does all this mean I scream
Your completely gone
I open my eyes
It was all just another dream

I'm not saying that all men are thoughtless
they just dont seem to be able to consider us
they seem to prefer drunken nights with their mates
to taking their girlfriend out on hot dates
what would happen if the boot was on the other foot
going out with your mates again? tut tut
men of the world, think about this
before another night out with your mates on the piss
