life would be about the same or worse because another attack would have occurred, probably worse
911 was somewhat miraculous when you think about the full plan and if it had been successful. Much of the attackfailed ? What if Todd Beamer had not of said Let's roll or whatever happened over PA did not happen?
What if another attacked occured and a plane hit the White House or The Capitol Building? this was obviously part of the original plan.
The Plane that hit the pentagon hit the part that was mostly unoccupied?
What if the attacked failed and another was a direct hit on Military Leaders of the USA.
There are now superior securitysystems in place that would not let ths happen. Because of 911.
Life would be far worse if it did not happen, vigilance was a result of 911 including a full restructuring of the FBI.

If we prevented 9/11, the ring leader (was Utta his name, i forget) would've bought a suitcase nuke from renegade Soviet dissidents and blew up half of DC. The US would've thought it was an attack by the Russians and retaliated with ICBMs. The resulting WW3 would've wiped out 2.5 billion people in the first 30 minutes... you get my drift.
Playing with the space time continuum can have catastrophic and monumental consequences...go ask Doc. Brown....

omg, i wish that 9/11 talk would end ! it was a bad but come one, let it go already. when i saw it on tv i thought to myself "ah damn poor people, and **** were never gonna hear the end of this every year"
