The sci fi has a miniseries called Tin Man and I was wonder if there is a book following it.
I know it is based on "The wonderful wizard of OZ" ( the classic film and book), but it there a book for sci fi channels version

As far as I'm aware, no. After seeing the final installment last night, "Tin Man" seems to be set well after Baum's book. DG is Dorthy's great granddaughter, but just how many greats I don't know. Her father did call Dorthy DG's greatess great grandmother, which could either mean several greats before grandmother or her most well known great grandmother.
However, SciFi channel does have a prequel comic online that leads up to just before the storm.
