This is a proof or ontological arguement, known as St Anselm's proof. It is simple deductive logic.

1) Any idea of God has to be of the greatest being that ever existed.

2) But the existence of something just in the mind is inferior to an existence in reality.

3) So, as God is the greatest conceivable being, He must exist in reality, as well as in the mind.

The dream was beautiful and haunting and seemed to have a meaning.
The short piece of writing, describing the dream is a little too long to post here so here is the link to the piece:

I would be very grateful for comments, thoughts, ideas and interpretations.

Thanks

How did slavery lead up to the civil war. I know that it was fought because one side was slavery and other was anti but what factors cause slavery to increase more and more in some states and less in less in others? Also, how did each era starting from the 17th century with the Transatlantic slave trade to the south in the 19th century transform slavery amking it so prominent?

The gift

The girl spots it on the cover of a small chocolate box. An elephant stepping out into a spring-smitten silence. Be it a butterfly in motion or I love you kissed by the wall. To catch it, she draws a little heart. So as to read it, she colors it, too.

I am curretly working on a novel using MS word for my input. I have over 11,000 words so far and was wondering how that would translate into book pages. Is there a formula that you can use to determine the length of a novel by the number of words used (rough estimation, not exact) so I can edit as necessary?

Okay, I know this question has beem asked a thousand times before..and I think I have even answered some of them..
But I honestly need help!
I have an audition for "Fiddler on the Roof" next thursday with my friend. We are not the best singers but can carry a tune, what is an easy song we could audition with that we could sing together. Prefrably a disney song, because we both know disney brilliantly and the auditions are not that professional, my drama teacher said just sing at least 30 seconds, because she really wants me to get in the chorus..

but yea..thanks for all you help!

it would be VERY much appriciated!

Ok so the school talent show is ont he 10th and I'm still not sure what I'm goind to do for it, or if I'm even going tto be in it! I was thinking I would play Blackountainside by Ledzeppelin on acousttic guitar. I can play it pretty well, but I think I'd just end up boring everybody cuz its just so damn repetitive! I really don't know what to o now... I really wanted to play acoustic guitar. But I wanted it to be a just guitar song with no vocals and definately no just chord strumming! I wanted something that like technical and interesting, preferably fingerpicking. Notjust arpeggios cause thats lame. and no classical cause people will finf that boring too. Somethting that will grab all there attention and make them thtink "Damn, I knew he must have been good at tguitar, but DAMN!" Yea. Or maybe blackmountain side would be good... What do you think? Also my friend is play crossroads by clapton I dont want his piece to totally outweigh mine. thanks. :)

I don't quite understand how something can be "infinite". How do we even go this far with trying to comprehend infinity? Why name something when you cannot grasp it, or understand it? How can we ever know if something never ends, when we cannot even prove that it exists in the first place?
