~You just did - and did.
And whoever said "there's no such thing as a stupid question" never watched an incompetent attorney at trial. Of course, asking someone who's spurting blood from the stump that used to his arm "Does it hurt?" or "are you all right?" are pretty bright, too.

Not sure about the stupid question thing as I have been reading some on Yahoo Answers, and they are not all Einsteins here. However, if you would like to make a try at a stupid question, I will attempt an intelligent answer.

if, by stuipd quesiton, you mean a question than has no point in it, then no, it isn't possible to get intelligent asnwers, since there is not concept to answer to.
however, if by stpuid question, you mean a question that the answers are usually obvious, yes, you can get intelligent answers, even if it's just common sense
i think, since you say that "(Remember there's no such thing as a stupid question)," this question is stupid by definition #1, because there's not point in it if you don't believe stupid questions exist

Why do people ask questions in the first place? Once you have answered that question you'll have your answer.
See the reason why there are no stupid questions is that generally when someone asks something they're either trying to obtain information about something of which they are not familiar with or they are trying to gauge where the answerer stands on a particular issue.

"Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov.

To quote Mr. Garrison from "South Park":
'There are no stupid questions - only stupid people'.
But to answer your question: I have seen stupid questions get intelligent answers, and intelligent questions get stupid answers. So anything is possible.

possible? yes, any question can be answered
but who decides that the question was stupid? or that the answer was intelligent?
in the end, all you have is a question and an answer

A stupid questions can get intelligent answers.
But always remember, there is no need to answer a stupid question unless it is needed or when your answer is also stupid.
Be serious as life is serious.
