During the course of my meditation practises; not only I happened to come across various questions; but also inspirations to find their answers in THE BHAGWAT GITA.
As such; I found the answer for the question of achieving sucess in the last chapter thereof.
According to it; man can be sucessfull only when;
his aim is to be the CONQUERER WEALTH;
his goal is to REALISE AND DELIVER SENSE AND FEEL OF GOODNESS OR OPULANCE , VICTORY, GLORY OR EXTRA ORDINARY POWER, AND UNFAILING RIGHTEOUSNESS OR MORALITY to self and others alike;
his tools are THE BODY, THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE KNOWABLE.
Chapter 18, Verse 72.
O conqueror of wealth, Arjuna, have you heard this attentively with your mind? And are your illusions and ignorance now dispelled?
Chapter 18, Verse 78.
Wherever there is Krsna, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.
Chapter 13, Verse 19.
Thus the field of activities [the body], knowledge and the knowable have been summarily described by Me. Only My devotees can understand this thoroughly and thus attain to My nature.

Life here is meant to think BIG. Every single second which goes by is as precious as gold. You should not lose time in life. You should strive hard to achieve what you have set as target. You should have a clear vision of what you want in life as this will draw an imaginary path betwen you and your goal. Obstacles will come and go, but you MUST remain yourself in whatever circumstances and rock! You should build a strong confidence in you and tell yourself that you will get whatever you want in life. Have the rage to conquer in you. Always aim for the number one. If you'll be satisfied after being number two, then you'll never be able to be number one in life! Remember this.

Success is a self realization, listen, my father died at a young age and it made me realize the importance of life. You see, when your dying, money or fame doesn't really matter. I think that if you made it through this life without killing yourself, your better than the average bear. You see, I agree that success is all relative, just don't be surprised when you finally get a million dollars and your face on a magazine and realize that it's really not important.

Actualising fully all the potential within is true success,true fulfilment also. Name and Fame are incidental,the joy of being when we are able to discover who we truly are(our inner,unique talents),develop the same(opportunity and support for it is essential) and be that(make that a profession or work) is the real success in life.

Success is different to different people. It is relative to your thought and limit.
Some are subtle without name and fame but they feel as success, but the 100% of heart what you give in the work you do will make a difference to you in the name called success what target you kept for yourself.

you could possibly define sucess as: the aqusition of a desired end. You would then have to know what you are desireing to see if you have been sucessful. To acheive it... Compleat something how you want it to be, and you have been sucessful. thus you will have sucess.

Success is the standard/goal that you set for yourself. If you meet this goal you have reached success. Work is one way to achieve success. Another is to make your goals realistic to the social context in which they are made. Gather your resources, plan them with a goal in mind and you will succeed.

The meaning of success is however you define it as. For some people, success only occurs when they have accomplished something, no matter the emotional feedback. For others, it's all about the emotional feedback and nothing aobut accomplishment, because they feel if they can be proud of something, they have made success happen in their life.
I define success personally, as any event in which I can learn and grow in character, and gives me any feeling that tells me I have accomplished something, even if it wasn't my intended goal.
