I have a Canon A560 that I use for photos of clothing on ebay. I recently switched from a Minolta SLR (film) that I've used for years. I've noticed with the Canon A560 that the colors aren't as accurate as I'm used to: a blue sweater with a purple tint will simply appear blue w/o any tint, or a sweater that's silver and black with gold highlights will somehow lose the gold. I've experimented with different lighting (250 watt - regular & tungsten) and played with the settings on the Canon (white balance, My Colors, etc). Whats the best way to achieve the color accuracy I'm looking for? This is frustrating since I never had these problems with the old film format.

I would like some clarification / explanation on what I'm reading.

The War of Austrian Succession (1740-1748) started when Maria Theresa became the empress of Austria, and Frederick II of Prussia decided to invade & take Silesia from Austria. The Austrian Succession then continued to involve other European powers at the time... So, the alliances formed was
Austria & Britain vs. Prussia & France.

Fastforward a bit... during the Seven Years' War...
Britain & Prussia vs. Austria & Russia & France.

How did the alliances get flip-flopped?
My book mentions something about Maria Theresa working diplomatically through her minister, Count Wenzel von Kaunitz, but it doesn't really explain WHY Britain and France decideded to change sides.

Ok, I want to start acting but need to know how/were to start? How to get my portfilo started, What I should put in it? Should I take acting classes? I have already went to my local theater and have been in MANY plays (I've gotton many lead roles)...People have told me I should go pro with my acting=) Just plz tell me were to start and were to go afterwards...Like how to get an agent,ect.?? I am painting Christmas jeans for daughter and am using acrylic paints mixed with fabric medium. The red I am using just soaks in to the denim and doesn't look red. I tried letting it dry and putting another coat, but no luck...it looks bad. Should I just use acrylic paint and no medium? I've seen really cute jeans on ebay with really bright colors....I thought it would be easy to achieve the same look!?
