Main Axis - Germany, Italy and Japan
Minor Axis - Hungary and Romania (They "joined" because of the fear of the Soviet Union.) Finland was also considered an Axis power during it's war with the Soviets.

Main Allies - Soviet Union, United States, China and Great Britain
Minor Allies - Too numerous to list

The Allies were Great Brittan, the United States and the Soviet Union, and, loosely, anybody not in the Axis. The Axis powers were Germany, Italy and Japan.

Allies- Big 3 USSR, United Kingdom, USA and before they were occupied Poland and France. Other large countries considered allies China and Australia.
Axis-Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan.

Allies were England,America,France,Australia,Russia (for the majority)....The Axis where Germany,Japan, Russia (for a minute, unofficial also.), and Italy....also any lands these country colonized during that time tended to be align with the respective country...
