Enemy or Teacher


Is cancer an enemy
here to destroy me
or a teacher
come to walk with me
for awhile,
will it bring me
to my knees in surrender
or lead me to higher places
of learning?

Could I not have attained
this deeper awareness
from a less cruel teacher?

Why such a hard knock,
such a swift and painful blow;
are there any answers
that I really need to know

or should I just
spend more time
being thankful;
grateful that I am where I am.
I am not destroyed,
nor washed away,

Actually, can an Ubermensch serve anyone other than himself?
If belief in God constitutes using morals other than the ones you created yourself, does that mean Nietzche condemns Theists as inferior to Atheists?
*note, the only thing I've ever read by Nietzche is a tiny bit of Zarathustra, so if Nietzche has already said explicitly that all religious people are wrong, please don't use that as your sole reason.

Does anyone else think what is happening currently with castro sounds like the ancient roman legend of Tarquinius Priscus and Servius Tullius? A king dies (in the case of the ancient roman legend killed) and the handpicked leader "assumes power" so the nation doesnt fall to a foreign power?
There are other striking parallels, in the ancient roman legend, the new king would allegedly not be able to settle legal disputes because "he needed to confer with the king". Chavez calls Castro, but magically can't put him on speakerphone... Ramon still recieves his orders from Castro, but we haven't seen Castro over a long period of time...

Am I reaching here???

What looking for is who that artist is because I seen a super cute poster while out of town a while ago at a Bed Bath and Beyond but didn't buy it. And now I wish I would have bought it for a friend. I have searched all over the net but can find anything.
Anyways this photographer has super cute pictures of babies sometimes dressed up in costumes. Like one I seen there were babies dressed up in animal costumes and under it said something like farm animals. Any help would be appreciated!

this is i am dating who is in grade 10 shows me salsa alot. hes latino/ spanish and very hot lol im italian he said that he doesnt like italian dancing, ballroom.. hes sort of joking though and saying it jokingly, not mean. but i was wondering what is the major difference. i never did ballroom. what are some differences? and is salsa more sexy, close kind of dancing .. if that makes sense..! also do u think we would look cute together an italian and a spanish.. like not nessarally dancing but on the streets and when we are dating, now.? cause my grandma thinks i should end up marrying an italian lol

As I understand U.S. Copyright law, any book published before 1978 was copyrightable for two 28-year terms, for a total of 56 years. Therefore, the novel The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, published in 1951, would fall into the public domain this year--2007. That means that anyone who wants to turn Catcher into a film, stage play, musical, opera, ballet, TV show, or what have you, has the perfect right to do so, and J.D. Salinger can't do a thing about it. Am I right or am I wrong?

FYI, on those who've tried to secure the rights to adapt Catcher in the past:

My parent are fed up with me using all my room space for my books and they are making me get rid of them. I live close to Seattle,WA and i need to find somewhere close to me to donate my books. I have a client who does spray on bed liners, lift kits, step bars, grill guards, wheels, tires, etc for 4x4 trucks, suvs and jeeps. He wants some "cool" t-shirt designs that tells all about what they offer. He also wanted one that was specifically about the spray on bed liners (which I have almost completed and it looks good).
