Go crazy time machine, faster than light travel, a way to unlock psychic powers...anything you like

At one time going to the moon was thought of as science fiction. What would you like to see if you could choose one thing. Elaborate as much as you like.

What I am looking 4
- Iam more of a hip-hop r&b focused, so if the school focuses on that mainly then I'll perfer it more then anything else

-Location of the school doesn't matter, only that it must be in the United States. I aiming for California or Florida, but if the better school is some where else thats ok.

-MFA is the master degree for performing arts, and much more perfered degree for me then MA, which focuses less on the dancing part. Just wanted to put that in there

Hi. I am a huge Stephen King fan. I've read all of his books, at least two times. I've found it pretty hard to find other authors that write horror that keep my interest piqued. (I don't like vampires or aliens. And, please, although most authors use sex in their books, I can't stand the ones who use it constantly or in explicit detail.) Can you recommend some horror authors who spin a good tale?

Just because you do not understand it does not hold much water. Not saying it is true. Just saying "not much water".

The field is an open plain surrounded by mountains with a river in the middle of it--everything is perfectly symmetrical. They have the same number of troops and soldiers of whatever kind they choose and are used to working with. Who wins the battle of the generals?

In French’s book, Medicine before Science it talks about medical ethics, it states “doctors believed that his treatment would be more effective if he had the trust of the patient: in the doctors’ terms this was a question of asserting their authority over the patient and securing his obedience” (French 146). For some people if a doctor prescribes a more expensive cure it might work better than the common known cure. In the text this example is shown “princes expected to pay a great deal, leaving the common cure to the common people” (French146). This has become a large practice today; you have some people that have to have the name brand item when a generic will have the same effect. How has this placebo effect of more expensive cures survived this long?

No matter what your beliefs are, asume for a moment that reincarnation was possible and you could live one more life, without remembering this one, just like you live now. Do you think life is beautiful enough, to be worth to live one more? Would you chose to do it, or is this life enough for you?

During the colonial days of the USA, British soldiers battling the the rebellious, self-centered, unloyal, usurping colonists had to wear a bright red (scarlet) uniform in battle. Not exactly the best thing to wear for camo in a battlefield of woods or farm land.

So why did they wear that color? Did it represent or symbolize something? Also, when did they stop wearing such uniforms? Was there any British officer stating how silly it was to wear such a color in a battle?
