A World With No Name
A world without people would be a quiet world. The cattle would graze in the meadows, and the deer would walk the empty roads.
"Where have all the poeple gone?"
No creature great or small would wonder. For the world would find itself again- and fall into a much needed slumber.
The cold winter would whisper to the silent hills, "Where has all of their fire, metal and garbage gone?" But no one could tell and none of them bothered to knock their houses down.
For they will be gone in their due time as the people who built them are. And a small bunny says,- the last of his kind, "Tis the children I will miss most."
Their machinery-iron rusts away and gets eaten by the earth from which it came. And the fruit trees will grow unplucked and finally break free from their tame. And they will breathe and sigh in a united cry-
"Without poeple our world has no name!"
