The Wheel of Time series is very easy to read and very distracting. Unfortunately, Robert Jordan just died, without writing the last book. Dark Tower is an astounding piece of work

SEARCH FOR THE SUN by Ellen Anthony. 16-year-old Donal Yorkson is a rookie cop on a fantasy world who must solve a murder in spite of opposition from his captain, his family and his queen.

One of the few mysteries you'll find where the villain is caught and kills himself before the full extent of his crime is discovered.

If you haven't read 1984 by george orwell, do so now! You won't believe how much it pertains to what's happening to us all today! He wrote this book in 1948 and in essence predicted much of what's happening right now! I promise you'll find it very interesting.
