My friend thinks she is in the beginning stages of being able to hearing sprtits......
what are some stages?

He told me things like
Hearing footsteps, feeling the presence of another being, seing an aparition, hearing strange noises, seing lights that shouldn't be there, ect. his ears pop alot and he had his ears checked and they were fine....

Actually, tell him to take it a step further and try to get names and dates from them.
Then look them up on a genealogogical website search engine to see if they were people who really did exist in that particular place.
If he is able to do that successfully with more than 2, he is gifted and have him tell everybody.
It's one thing to hear their presence. Have him ask them when they are around to show themselves, to give him names, to give him as much info as they can.
But if it's really bugging him, have him ask them to show him where the money is.
Let me tell you, even ghosts disappear when you ask them for money!

Typically, the first stage of hearing spirits occurs right after smoking some crazy stuff.......

is he doing spiritual practice...then it can be any number of things...he needs to protect himself and be able to control the environment...he should have a mentor or some such thing...
if he isnt doing spiritual practice...people are going to start thinking that he is "crazy"...and has schizophrenia...which could be a problem...with dealing with society and controlling themselves. in this case the "filters" are messed up...and they wont be able to control the environment.
you have to diffentiate the two first...

She's very intuitive. Tell her to focus more on the inner voices she's hearing and ask the voics for guidance on her spiritual quest.

this is a very dangerous situation. he needs to run quickly to his nearest priests or church because that means either demons or damned souls are running about his home. people who die and go to heaven are stuck in heaven. they dont get a golden pass to come wandering around here on earth. when citizens of heaven die they go to heaven.PERMANENTLY! so if it isn't an angel or a relative that went to heaven it's a demon or damned soul that went to hell. either way he needs to go motel six or call on the name of JESUS. i happen to know that demons flee from that name.
