Serafim
Written By Semper Fi Reborn

And there was a shout,
As bright lights appeared above.
I saw one in the likeness of,
Part man, part love.
With wings that spanned,
Out around six feet.
And around his chest,
Was a golden fleece.
When he spoke,
Men fell down as if to worship.
He said there is a God,
Yet I am not Him.
I am but a servant,
Like men.
I have come as a messenger,
God shall come again!
I'm an Angel of the Lord,
Come to warn men.
Glory Be To Our God!
Shouts the Serafim.

I'm having a writers block. I need help writing a poem about this girl. Heres the ryhimng pattern:
A / B / A
Here's what I have so far:

Her eyes are an icy blue
The most beautiful color
I have ever knew

Her smile brightens up the day
Its more than enough
To take my stress away

I could say much more
About this Irish girl
??????????????

For the 3rd stanza, if you want to switch up what I have so far, thats fine, but I want to keep the part about her being irish in it. KEEP IT CLEAN!

Meursalt shoots dead a man who had been previously threatening to him and his friends, and who had before his eyes drawn and brandished a knife. Then the whole trial seems to revolve around Meursalt's attitude towards his mother and her recent death- and he gets sentenced to death!

Given that Meursalt wants to live, why would he not mention the man he shot had just drawn a knife on him? Any court would acquit him on those grounds. It just doesn't make sense. Camus says Meursalt stands for truth, if so, why doesn't this man mention the one obvious truth that would save him, ie, that he fired in self-defence?

... of living? This isn't a question of suicide or anything like that. I'm looking for the proverbial 'meaning of life'. And I don't want a person's personal goals; I want an all-encompassing theory or philosophy explaining the existance of people. Thanks. <3

I find the most happiness in life's intangibles--a hug from my children,a summer breeze,my garden,etc....and yet I know so many people who just seem to live for getting that next new car or whatever material thing. Are we born this way or not?

Alot of places I submit short stories say they want the document in rich text format or .rtf. But when I convert my wordperfect document, it looks messed up. To me, it looked fine, but an editor ( grumpy) said he liked my story but literally cursed me out for having bad formatting. I think maybe I am doing something wrong in wordperfect. I know all about font, margins etc, What I am talking about is basically how to set up wordperfect for an author, and convert the file properly. I want it to look professional and polished. I thought I was doing everything right, but I guess not...Help, thank you!!!

When you look at history, why do so many Christians completely ignore the commandment, "Thou Shalt not Kill"? Did they think that if it was in war, power, money, etc., it was excused? Even now many Christian's believe in the death penalty, which is completely against the New Testament. And Murder is one of the things that society holds as the number one worse thing anyone can do. I am not sure about in the past, but I am sure it was still pretty serious if someone be put to death for something that harmed no one. And it is not just Christians. Look at the Middle East. How come so many deaths/murders are caused by people of religions that most condemn it?
