Okay, Well.. I'm only 13 and I've been an actress for 8 years.

But, I know a looot.

Just like theaterdoc, I have a list of things.

1: Ask your parents if its okay.

2: Search in phone books, or online for Florida Talent Agents

3: Once you find one that will accept children, or one that you like get your headshot ready.

4: Then, you have to get a resume of all your previous experiance- ask your mom, or do it yourself.

5: Send in the photo and the resume, and wait about a month.

6: Call the agency and ask if they have recieve your resume.

7: If not, then tell them that It will hopefully be there soon.

8: If so, ask if they have thought of representing you.

Extra Tips:

They might tell you they will call you if their interested, they really will. But, it will normally take a couple months.

If they don't call within a couple of months KEEP SUBMITTING PHOTOS, bug them, until they know your reaaaaally determined.

Good luck =D

step1-convince your parents that you should be an actress. You cant do anything without their permission until you are 18 due to child labor laws.
step2-get a lot of experience in plays
step 3- take professional classes
Step 4 prepare resume & head shot and cover letter written by a parent
Step 5 submit to agents and sit and wait and see if they are interested in you, they will call you if they are.
