Patience and acceptance. Understanding and accepting that I WILL make mistakes in the future allows me the space to see and forgive myself more easily. And, best of all, not only do I allow myself to NOT be correct 100% of the time, I have a quiet stillness that keeps me from negatively reacting to others when they are wrong.

AND.... a whole boat load of listening. That's the most important part.

Does it take "capacity" to understand math? science? philosophy? humor? sadness? ecstasy? Understanding "folly" comes from the same place. Why should it come from "somewhere else" than all the rest of your knowledge?

Studying and researching . Then come to find out what they knew was all a hoax. Mine is from a gut feeling. I dont speak till I know what I am speaking about. TO live is to learn. You cant learn till you have lived some. Compassion plays a part.

You have to pretty smart to be funny. It takes knowledge to outwit people. Not to mention, you need a sense of humor yourself to be able to "catch on" to other's humor. You, my dear are both, smart and funny! Don't ever change that about you!
