If we were, we'd have less than the wandering scavengers from whom we've culturally evolved.

The fact that we have more than we started with means we create significantly more than we destroy, so we must therefore be generally better at creation.

Otherwise, I'd be sitting on a log in a cave typing uselessly on a buffalo bone!

Absolutely. There are many great masterpieces have been 'created' by human beings & I think that creativity is in our nature. However, carelessness and destructiveness seem to be in our nature as well and we're always destroying even when we at times may not even realize it. And in this case, I'm afraid that the bad outweighs the good. In our search for knowledge, truth, justice, pleasure, happiness, individuality, and so much more, including creativity, we are destroying. Even in the tiniest way. Including me. Really think about this and you will realize that it's true.

I am in no way undermining the many accomplishments of humans, but the destruction cannot be ignored.

I would like to be positive since through positivism we could make things good. We are better on creating things but others who are not mindful of the environment destroy what others have created. Being an advocate of nature, I try to protect the environment through my actions and putting my agenda in papers so others would be aware of all these things.

Ying/Yang...they balance out. We can really do neither. What is done is what is needed to keep balance. We are just tools of balance. While we may do either, we do neither.
