Hey, I've been shooting with film cameras lately, and I've wanted to kick up the ISO a bit. My camera can get ISO of 6 to 6400, but I'm not sure of how to get to those levels. I shoot with regular 400 ISO film, but I wondering if there is a way to "trick" the camera into thinking it is a different ISO? I heard somewhere that it is possible to scratch off the DX code and add black tape, but I'm not to sure. Due to the high cost of film, I dont really feel like ruining a roll of 36 exposures. Thanks for any help.

Can we believe religious theories on the origin of the Earth and life if there is absolutely NO proof. I am not in favour of a scientists view on this issue, in fact I am impartial to any views that people tell me. But scientists do have some proof of the big bang through scientific research and religious groups have....writings and scriptures?
I do not intend to offend people with certain religious beliefs, but how can you say that your scriptures that you rely on are really true? That they are giving us the right idea about how life flourished?
I think people will have some strong arguments against this and I welcome them, but ill say it again, this question was nothing to do with me trying to offend religion. Just to explore some people' views.
Thanks.

I'm starting a new blog soon, and I was thinking a good topic to write about would be the Post Secret books, since a new one just came out.

I think the #1 reason why they are so popular is that when we read them it makes us realize that we are not alone.

If you've ever read a Post Secret book, you know they're almost impossible to put down!

Why do you think they are so successful?!

I am reading Hannibal and I am thoroughly confused AND irritated. It's soooo concise and descriptive and there are dialogue that I have no idea what they are about. There are also so many abbreviations. Is my English really bad or that book is hard to read in general? There are so many organizations and terms with which I am not familiar. GOD, IT'S SO EXASPERATING.

Are they really afraid that evolution will somehow devalue thier place on Earth?
Are they really afriad that they won't go to heaven?
Just what is the threat that causes them to overlook a huge body of evidence supporting evolution. Evoution just has to be one of the most beautiful laws (not theory as the general public uses the word) in science.

I’ve got Bamboo on the windowsill
A lighthouse on the shelf
Shells and starfish all around
and a crab I built myself

Netting I twined up from string
a treasure chest of sticks
A seacoast clock that tic’s and tocks
and photos from all the kids

But, where would I be without my Ty?
Every morning, a deeper sigh
I’d give up everything to hear them say
everything’s gonna be just fine

Ty loves all the things I do
but, sometimes I think he lies
I think that he loves what I do
cause he loves to make me smile

And I’m not into Baseball but,
I could watch him play all day
I cheer and yell from the bleachers
Every thing’s gonna be okay

If the house burned down and took all we knew
Lighthouses, netting, crabs and bamboo
I fall to my knees giving thanks for each day
that all of the children were pulled safely away

It would be easy I guess, if the house burnt down
instead of this mess that we’re facing now
A heart beats for so long as it was meant to be
