I have found some books online, but i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what they think is a great book. I want to read something intersting. and fiction, non-fiction, biography or authobiaugraphy are all good, just not a refrence book. Thank you very much in advance.

For anorexia/bulimia there's a pretty good autobiography by Marya Hornbacher called "Wasted". She goes into some detail about her experiences with both anorexia and bulimia and the treatments that she received for both. She also discusses how her ailments affected her friends and family. Here's a link to the book at Amazon, where you can read more about it including the customer reviews of the book: http://www.amazon.com/Wasted-Anorexia-Bulimia-Marya-Hornbacher/dp/0060930934

Good luck to you! :-)

My first immediate recommendation, if you're looking for a well written, distubring jounrey into schizophrenia, one that gets so intense & nerve racking, that I could barely finish it, for an assignment in my high school health class.
I was literally beginning to question my own sanity, or at least reality seemed somehow skewed, and I was left with an overall shooken feeling
It's called "I never promised you a rose garden" and it's by Nancy Greene..
there's a chance it's not as bad as I remmber, but my father also read it and he sort of agreed with me.
So I warn that it's slightly difficult to handle.
Another must read is "Ophelia Speaks"...which is a riveting compilation of stories written by teenage girls.
While i'm at it, there's "Go Ask Alice", delivered in journal form, & a bit of an juvenile read (lower grade/year)
And, don't miss "Girl Interuppted" by Susanna Keysen, and Prozac Nation..
I could probably go on and on if you want more, I read ALOT

Louder than Words: A mother's journey in healing autism by Jenny McCarthy.

It's about Jenny's son being diagnosed with and then treating autism. Good, quick read.

I'm not sure if that will help with your class but it's still a good book

Autobiography of a Schizophrenic Girl by Marguerite Sechehaye (I almost found myself really understanding what she was talking about--a very tall order indeed)
Operators and Things by Barbara O'Brien (another one that's pretty compelling--and will get you just about half-believing in things you never would've thought possible before)
