I have been playing the clarinet for almost 3 years in the school's band program. I have not had any private lessons so I am unsure of the type of reed and size I should use. I feel it important to know because I'm in the Marching Band and are playing in different temperatures with high notes that don't sound as well as I know they can. I'm now using a size 4 in the Mitchell Lurine brand, I believe. Can you help?

Music is so fascinating to me and I have never seen or heard anything like it. There is no other way to make something like music other then playing an instrument or singing. Yet I cant bring myself to practice enough as I should. It's mostly playing scales and learning theory that gets me, everything else is so fun to play. How can I make learning theory fun?

I took an acting class a while back, and I did a cold reading of a monologue of Louka's, and I did very well with it. And an experienced professional actress told me to find my perfect monologue because it helped her get double the jobs she did before she found her perfect monologue. Now I just need to FIND it. Any suggestions?

Assuming that it is cognitive enough to do so, do you think that an infant in the womb would fear being born? Seems that it could be thought of as an end to life as it knows it, much the way that death to us is an end to what we know, and a beginning of something unknown.
