Life is neither good nor evil, it is simply life.
You get out of life what you put in so I would suggest that you put in good as opposed to evil and try to enjoy the ride more and not spend so much time reading good and evil into the meanings of life and all it has to offer.

Everyone has the ability to be good and evil, so it's more about what kind of choices you make.
But considering many people do evil things that slop over into everybody's life, evil rears its ugly head on a regular basis. It's no excuse for being evil...but evil certainly crops up all the time and it's hard to avoid.
But there's great good in the world, too. You go rub a puppy belly and tell me that's not great good.
But then there's evil when people don't spay and neuter and there are way too many puppy bellies and they wind up strays or euthanized at a shelter somewhere.
So it's a constant battle between good and evil. Evil isn't even "evil" under every circumstance. Conscience is all about being flexible enough to deal with different situations but strong enough to have convictions and stand up for what's right.
CONSTANT VIGILANCE!!!!
But it's not all evil. It's just enough evil to make things...interesting. Difficult, at times. But not ALL evil.

I do not consider life evil in general but the forces of good and evil upon each other I do consider the way it is. Each of us have a choice on whether we take the evil way or the good way and it is within us all. The lord sent the devil down to earth and he tempted Jesus and Adam and Eve and also is here to tempt us into doing evil deeds so it is written. I do believe there is an evil force in this world that does try to tempt us or try to hurt us in a way to make us make bad decisions. There has to be good to balance out with evil or how would any of us tell the difference in what we do?

This is because you already have the answer and therefore cannot resonate with your own kindred, like-knowledge (the attract-repel principle) but tend to receive its opposite from others instead, which to you renders unclarity.
You are correct. Life is as you would say, "a struggle" with what you say again "evil" and "good."
What all really is, is differences, diversities, opposites and things imagined and not.
Life -- here -- consists of mastering and balancing of the opposites so that we may go on to work with the greater things Life needs resolving of elsewhere.
This is why we undergo what we undergo here -- because we must use it to facilitate Life in the running of things elsewhere. This takes great skill, lots of polishing of rough edges and honing the finest of acumen -- mastership, self-mastership, which preparation entails one long learning curve -- in relative and absolute terms both.

Good and evil have no meaning unless there is God. Good and evil refer to absolutes and absolutes require God.
So either we have to accept God or we have to say that your question has no meaning.
If we accept God, then our struggle is to seek God our Creator and to come to know God. All issues about morality and good and evil will flow naturally from seeking Him.
Christians believe that we seek God by trying to obey His command to love our neighbors for where love is, there God is also. God reveals Himself through our experiences in trying to help our neighbor.

life is a struggle for resources. That's it. Some get them with kindness, some with ruthlessness.
